Company Policies
Below you will find the Inkdulgence Tattoo Parlour shop policies which have been put in place to protect you, our artists and our business.
Inkdulgence PTY LTD reserves the right to alter these policies at any time.
Inkdulgence Policies
1. **Appointment Booking Policy:**
a) - A deposit is required to secure the appointment. ($50-$200 dependent on total price of the booking).
b) - The deposit is non-refundable.
c) - The deposit amount is deducted from the final cost of the tattoo.
2. **Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy:**
a) - If you cancel your appointment your deposit will be forfeited.
b) - Clients must provide at least 72 hours notice for appointment rescheduling.
c) - Failure to provide sufficient notice for rescheduling may result in forfeiture of the deposit.
d) - Repeated rescheduling may result in loss of deposit, subject to artists discretion.
3. **Health and Safety Policy:**
a) - Our studio follows strict hygiene and safety standards.
b) - Disposable needles and equipment are used for each client.
c) - Any non-disposable equipment is sterilised before each use.
d) - All surfaces are disinfected thoroughly between each client and disposable gloves are changed between each client.
4. **Age Policy:**
a) - Clients must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo.
b) - Valid identification, such as a driver's license or passport, is required for proof of age.
5. **Design and Consultation Policy:**
a) - Clients are encouraged to bring reference materials and ideas for their tattoo design.
b) - Consultations with our artists are available to discuss design ideas, placement, and sizing.
6. **Payment Policy:**
a) - Payment is due in full at the time of the tattoo session.
b) - We accept cash or bank transfer.
7. **Aftercare Policy:**
a) - Clients will be provided with detailed aftercare instructions for their tattoo.
b) - It is essential to follow these instructions to ensure proper healing and long-term appearance of the tattoo.
8. **Refund Policy:**
a) - Refunds are not provided for completed tattoo services.
b) - In the event of dissatisfaction, clients are encouraged to contact the studio to discuss potential options for touch-ups or revisions.
9. **Touch-Up Policy:**
a) - One free touch-up is offered within three months of the original tattoo session, subject to the following conditions -
b) - Touch-ups do not apply in the following circumstances:
- Where the tattoo is in an area(s) of the body which is highly prone to ink fading. This includes (but is not limited to): fingers, hands, feet, toes, palms, ears, lips, armpits, knees, and elbows; or
- Where there is a failure to adhere to aftercare procedures; or
- Where you would like to alter the tattoo by making additions/changes; or
- The artist is no longer at Inkdulgence; or
- The tattoo was a single needle or very fine line tattoo; or
- Numbing cream was used.
c) - Please note that individual artists may have separate touch-up policies.
10. **Conduct Policy:**
a) - Respectful and appropriate behavior is expected from all clients and staff.
b) - Any disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in refusal of service.
c) - Any possession of drugs or weapons on the premises will result in refusal of service and a permanent ban.
11. **Non-Discrimination Policy:**
a) - Inkdulgence does not discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or disability.
b) - We strive to create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all clients.
12. ** Voucher Policy:**
a) - Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash or refunds.
b) - Gift vouchers are valid for two years from the purchase date.
c) - Gift vouchers cannot be used as a deposit.
13. ** Quotes Policy:**
a) - Quotes are valid for 30 days.
b) - Changes to size, design or placement may result in change of price.
14. ** Child Policy:**
a) - For the safety of all and to maintain a focused environment for our artists, we kindly request that children under the age of 16 are not brought into the shop.
Tattooing requires precision and concentration, and any distractions could impact the quality of the work and the comfort of our clients.
